First Car

Where would we be without cars? That's a question I've never wondered until now. The answer, I suppose, is that we would be at home, doing nothing.

Cars are powered by small exploding tubes. When a tube explodes, it pushes a lever up and down, and the lever makes the wheels go round. It's all very complicated.

But it was far less complicated when the first car was invented, for it featured no exploding tubes at all. Rather than tubes, it was powered by a man's feet. And they certainly weren't exploding! They were running.

Of course, you all know what I'm talking about - the first car... Fred Flintstone's car, which was recently proven to have actually existed by a well-known scientist.

I asked the scientist if Bam Bam also existed, and he said no.
