People can find themselves doing very strange things when they have time to kill.

Take Mike Bock, for example. Mike works for a paperclip making firm.
One day, when Mike found himself with a few spare moments, he noticed that the paperclip storage vat had been left open.
Suddenly, Mike had an idea. He leapt into the vat and attached one hundred and twenty paper clips to his face!
Mike's co-workers were shocked when Mike finally climbed out - they believed he was some kind of paperclip mutant, who had travelled from the future!
Then Mike took the clips off, and they all had a laugh about paperclips, their own thoughts, and the general theories behind human cognition.

Later that day, when Mike got home and told his wife about his day's adventure, she requested a divorce and went to stay with her sister.
