You like sausages. I like sausages. Everyone likes sausages. The only trouble with sausages is that they are greasy. You can't hold a sausage in your hands without making a right mess.
Thank goodness then, for the inventor of bread rolls - Princess Diana. She invented them by accident whilst campaigning against landmines, when her sandwich fell onto a landmine and mysteriously imploded, transforming into a bread roll.
The Princess picked it up, and was so surprised, a few months later she crashed her car into a bridge.
Apart from sausages, many other things can be kept in a roll. Cheese slices, for example. Or long slivers of meat. The list is literally endless.
The best food in a roll is a roll mop herring, which is a fish product available from your local supermarket. The name of the product even includes the location where the herring should be put - a roll (not a mop. Don't put food in a mop).
