But you've surely heard of 'The Eiffel Tower' - which is a famous building in France!

The Eiffel Tower was built during France's first attempt to put a man on the moon. Sadly, they didn't build it quite tall enough, and then Hitler invaded France and everyone died.

But enough about France.

Snails are usually harmless to humans - because they are mindless globs of slime.
There is one case, however, of a snail killing a human - and it occured in the land of France, after a man named 'Pierre France' tried to eat what was later identified as the biggest snail!

When extracted, the snail measured an enormous 10cm in diameter!
