Random WOW: ' Furthest Coin Flick '

Most Robin Hoods

Robin Hood, Robin Hood,
Riding through the glen,
Robin Hood, Robin Hood,
With a load of men,
Feared by the bad,
Loved by the good,
Robin Hood, Robin Hood, ROBIN HOOD!

If you were alive in in medieval England and heard that playing, you would probably become quite excited. Because that was Robin Hood's theme tune, and hearing it meant that he was sure to appear!

Robin Hood was the Batman of the middle ages. He solved crimes, evaded the police, and even had his own Batmobile equivalent - a horse. He didn't have a Batcave, though.
He lived in a tree.

Like all good superheroes, Robin Hood surrounded himself with trusted allies - allies such as Friar Tuck, a monk... disguised as a monk! And Little John, a man who wasn't actually little at all - he was slightly above average height!

Today, Hood's fame is even greater than it was in his own time. This is thanks mainly to the Walt Disney cartoon of Robin Hood that was made in the 1970s.
Robin Hood became a fox, Little John became a bear, and Friar Tuck became I don't know what the hell that was.

Such is his popularity, if you've ever wanted to dress up like Robin Hood, you're not alone!
Sherwood Forest, in the county of Nottinghamshire, England, plays host to an annual 'Robin Hood' costume competition: fans from all over the world gather to act and eat like the 13th century outlaw.

And it was during the 2005 celebration that this WOW was set - when a total of fifty-eight Robin Hoods turned up!
