Everyone knows the song 'YMCA', by the Village People: firstly it's that song from Wayne's World 2 when an hilarious comedy situation occurs. Secondly, it has a memorable dance routine - 62% more memorable than the Macarena!

I'm not going to teach you how to perform the dance - I'm not Lionel Blair. But it basically involves you randomly waving your arms around. Legend has it that the dance was created by Bob Hoskins while he was trying to get a wasp away from his ice cream!

But, as far as I know, the largest YMCA dance didn't involve ice creams... or Bob Hoskins. Because the largest YMCA dance took place in the Sahara desert in 1992!
