Life and holes are intricatly linked.

We are born in a hole, and when we die, we are buried in a hole.

Also, at least once in your life, you will fall into a hole.

Some holes are very large - such as those created when a meteorite crashes into a planet. But some holes can be very small - like a mouse's nostril.

Some other names for holes are: craters, quarries, reverse mounds, and blowholes.

The darkest hole was discovered in 1299, by a nameless Spaniard.
